Lost and Found
Visit or call MCPAWS when you first lose your pet. If your pet is not already at the shelter, staff will take note and keep an eye out for your animal. You will be called right away if your pet is found.
Return to Owner Fees
$20 (includes free microchip, optional) Same Day if animal has been previously microchipped: No Charge Non-Same Day Returns: Base $20 fee, plus $10 additional boarding fee, per day.
Microchipping
Microchipping will help Animal Shelters, Veterinarians, and other rescue groups to identify your pet in the event they are found without other ID tags. Microchipping Fees With Any MCPAWS Adoption: Free! Owned Pets: $30 Call (208) 634-DOGS to make an appointment.
Training & Behavior
Having training or behavior problems? Does your kitty refuse to potty in her litterbox? Your dog likes to chew on the couch? MCPAWS staff members know many easy-to-apply training tips and tricks. Feel free to call the shelter and ask for assistance at any time. If our organization cannot solve your dilemma, you will be pointed in the direction of someone who can. There are solutions to your problems - exhaust all resources before you decide to surrender your beloved family pet.
